I’m so excited to finally present the new designs I’ve been working so hard on. These little charms were created using the lost wax casting method and took MANY hours to get it just right. Learning this process was time consuming but it stretched my imagination in a way I was craving! I’m kind of in love with lost wax casting and you can be assured that many more pieces are about to come bursting out of my mind.
A little about the design:
This mountain scene is my own rendition of Mt. Rainier, evergreen trees, and a crescent moon nightscape. All of it a nod of homage to my childhood spent in the PNW. The feeling of crisp air on my skin and moss under my feet. The subtle smell of decay from fallen trees and mushrooms. Stars allowed to shine with the absence of city lights, and that glorious moon shining on the path.
I made these charms specifically because they both depict my places of sanctuary. When my soul needs refilled I long for moments in nature, surrounded by the beauty of God's creation. Wearing these charms against my chest is the exact reminder I need to pull myself back into the present.
